The Oakley BXTR is a tribute to Baxter Street, a renowned skateboarding spot in Los Angeles that embodies both style and authenticity, just like this particular eyewear design. The shield sunglasses were created by Oakley®'s team of designers, who worked closely with friends of the brand to unveil a distinctive approach to lifestyle eyewear. The modernized trigger stem of BXTR Metal draws inspiration from Oakley's original Razor Blade sunglasses. In a nod to the prototype for Oakley's first-ever sunglass, which was crafted using a goggle lens and a wire coat hanger, the frame is enhanced with metal material. The frame's BiO-Matter® material ensures lightweight durability and all-day comfort, while the Unobtainium® nose pads offer enhanced grip.
