Based on the Retro Ripper, it features a scaled-down design with a lowered entry rocker and a wide, planing squash tail for enhanced glide and speed. The board retains a healthy amount of tail rocker and incorporates an aggressive double concave, providing lift and squirt under the rear foot. With a flat, stable deck, soft rails, and a forward-thickness flow, the RAD RIPPER offers forgiving and user-friendly retro fun with modern updates. It's suitable for almost any surfer, showcasing a slight vee in the nose transitioning into a shallow single concave and a deep double concave vee, allowing for both speed and control. Lost Surfboards traces its origins to 1985, when a group of school friends, including the now-renowned shaper Matt ‘Mayhem’ Biolos, formed ‘Team Lost’. Their adventurous spirit took them from snowboarding at Mt. Baldy to skateboarding in Upland’s Pipeline and surfing the waves at Dana Point. It was this spirit that inspired their graffiti on everything from books to shirts, leading to the birth of a clothing brand that embodied their lifestyle.
